So today when I was 'working' it was pretty quiet which therefore meant me doing a lot of thinking (as usual). Mostly about how much I've changed and now I don't want to go back to who I was. I don't wanna wear my oversized hoodies and leggings anymore, but skirts and T-shirts, which six months ago I wouldn't have thought about at all. I also love how every girl thinks the same and even over thinks. I love the way that we all fall for your lies so easily and yet that's what makes us love you more. We love the way you look at us in the eye and say 'I love you' and 'you're beautiful' and then when you dump us and you except us to just get over you like that so you don't feel guilty. And then a couple of weeks later, after we have our lives back on track you start talking to us like your 'mate' asking us if there's anyone 'new on the scene' when you know how much we were into you as when you told your three word lie, we responded with the four letter truth. And we even let our guard down and sent the cheesey texts. And then it's gone. But yet you expect us to be friends?
So therefore, we have come up with the Kofi Commandments:
1) All men are pricks, you just have to find one you can tolerate.
2) Your lies are better than love.
3) Live in a place with mobile phone signal.
4) Chatting up old men is only allowed at the bar, but not curry eating lesbians.
5) Jewellery is too expensive to buy.
6) If a guy seems to good to be true, he probably is.
7) Being 18 is no different from being 17, except you use your own ID.
8) If an alcoholic drink has fruit in the title, it counts as one of your five-a-day.
9) NEVER trust train times.
10) Nothing is ever the end of the world, except when it actually is... x
